A shaded garden courtyard in gentle daylight

Why Choose Yuet Wah

Comfort, Community,
and Quiet Consistency

We do not offer the most facilities in Hong Kong. What we offer is something more particular: a place that feels like home, where the same faces appear each morning and good food arrives without fuss.

What Sets Yuet Wah Apart

Six qualities that shape daily life at our residence — and that residents and families consistently mention.

Cantonese Home Kitchen

Seasonal menus prepared by a team that understands what Cantonese home cooking tastes like — not institutional catering, but the kind of food that residents recognise from their own households.

Outdoor Access Every Day

Landscaped gardens and shaded courtyards available from early morning. No booking needed, no supervised groups — residents come and go as they please throughout the day.

A Familiar Community

The number of residents we accommodate is kept deliberately small. Staff know each person individually, and residents develop genuine familiarity with one another over time.

Personal Welcome Host

Every Full Comfort resident is assigned a dedicated welcome host who manages day-to-day requests, relays messages to family, and ensures the settling-in period is calm and well-supported.

Well-Connected Location

Castle Peak Road in Tuen Mun is a well-known, established corridor. The West Rail Line, light rail, and bus routes make Yuet Wah easy for families to reach from across Hong Kong.

Honest, Transparent Pricing

Monthly fees are stated plainly with no hidden supplements for standard services. Families know exactly what is included in each arrangement from the day of enquiry.

A Closer Look at Each Benefit

Community Care Experience

The team at Yuet Wah brings direct experience in senior community living, home care coordination, and Cantonese household services. Our residence manager and staff trained in Hong Kong's community care sector before joining us.

This background means the small details of daily life for older adults — meal textures, walking pace, familiarity with local neighbourhoods — are understood from practical experience rather than policy documents.

  • Staff with backgrounds in Tuen Mun community care
  • Ongoing development in senior lifestyle management
  • Kitchen team trained in older adult nutrition
  • Compliance with Hong Kong residential care guidelines
  • Single point of contact for each resident's family
  • Regular updates without prompting
  • Errand and assistance requests handled same day
  • Flexible visiting hours seven days a week

Attentive and Reachable

Families tell us that one of their concerns with residential living is feeling disconnected from what happens day to day. At Yuet Wah, each family has a named point of contact — someone they can call or message and receive a prompt, clear answer from.

Requests from residents are handled directly by the team on duty. There is no lengthy process or escalation chain for everyday needs.

Straightforward Monthly Costs

Our three arrangements are priced simply. The Shared Dining and Tea House begins at HK$1,080 per month. Garden and Courtyard Mornings is HK$2,260 per month. The Full Comfort Residence, which includes private accommodation and all services, is HK$3,880 per month.

These figures cover everything within the scope of each arrangement. We do not add charges for standard daily services after a resident has moved in.

Things We Do That Others Don't

A Daily Afternoon Tea Sitting

Rather than a solitary afternoon, residents gather each day over dim sum and tea — a tradition that grew from the residents themselves and remains a quiet fixture of community life at Yuet Wah.

Optional Light Gardening

For residents who enjoy it, light gardening is available in the courtyard — tending pot plants, arranging seasonal flowers, or simply keeping a small patch of soil. Not a structured programme, just an open invitation.

Personal Taste Records

From the first week, the kitchen team records each resident's food preferences and any dietary considerations. These are carried through every meal, not just when formally requested.

Trial Stay Option

Families who would like their relative to experience life at Yuet Wah before committing to an arrangement can discuss a short trial stay. We think a direct experience tells more than any brochure could.
